My first English crumpets! I’d describe them as really close to our “English muffins” but spongier, like English muffins made with pancake batter. I don’t know if butter and jam is a thing. @endling uses butter and salt, and that tastes amazing. I like ‘em! 😋 (at Wolverhampton)
